The Kosovo Institute of Journalism and Communication, held its first Graduation Ceremony on 26th November 2007. The Ceremony was conducted under the auspices of the Board of Governors, who also all gave speeches and congratulated the new graduates.

The procession was headed by the Head of School Dr. Willem Houwen, followed by Prof. Terry Threadgold Pro Vice-Chancellor of Cardiff University, Prof. Will Norton Dean at Nabraska University, Prof. Hans Aage Gravaas President of Gimlekollen School of Journalism and Communication, Kaare Melhus Project Manager for Kijac, Board Governor and a representative of Gimlekollen School of Journalism and Communication and the Kijac Academic Staff.
13 graduands were admitted to the degree of Master of Arts in Journalism by Kijac Head of School Dr. Willem Houwen. The ceremony was followed with a reception of refreshments and cake. Many thanks to everyone who participated in this huge success.
